Instructions:
Step 1: Use paper towels and a bottle of rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the nose of the surfboard. Scrub vigorously making sure to remove all wax residue. Use at least three different paper towels, pouring rubbing alcohol on the nose each time to get the nose successively cleaner and cleaner.
Step 2: Do not remove the adhesive backing yet. Align the universal nose shield to the nose, so that it is seated snugly in the best spot on the nose. Take a sharpened pencil and outline the nose shield on the surfboard. Do the same on the other side of the nose, making sure it is symmetrical.
Step 3: In a location where the temperature is above 70°F remove the adhesive backing, spread the nose shield open and align the tip and the top edge of the pencil mark, then the rail, then the underside in a fluid rolling motion. Press the nose shield firmly into the rail, making sure to remove all bubbles. Allow the adhesive to cure on the board for at least 12 hours before surfing.
